Руководитель Хамас назвал своего внука в честь премьер-министра Турции.

Hamas leader names grandson after Turkish prime minister

If Israel's biggest cause for worry has to do with that shadowy nuclear business in Iran, its next largest fear might arguably concern the regional relationships that, according to its leaders, keep the country on defense. At the moment, no linkage has Israel more suspicious than the one shared by Turkey and Hamas -- which is perhaps one reason why Israeli media are all aflutter today over news that Hamas's prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, just named his grandson after Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan:

Erdogan is admired as a hero in Gaza because his government gave tacit approval to a May flotilla of pro-Palestinian activists that sought to break Israel's blockade of the territory. [...]

Hamas media reported on Tuesday that Gaza's Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh wants Erdogan's name reverberated on every tongue in Gaza.
